Weekly Photo Challenge: Hope

I remember learning the biblical story of Noah and the Ark when I was a child, and have always felt comforted by the idea that rainbows are a covenant: a symbol of hope and a promise that the world will never again be deluged in such a massive flood.  So far, so good.

Rainbows make me feel hopeful in general because the sun is shining, even if it’s still raining:

    1. I really enjoyed your photo submission for ‘Hope’. It’s such an important ingredient in this oft hopeless world! Thanks for your comments and likes! 🙂

    1. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. It was so wonderful to see a rainbow while in Ireland (which I imagine is not a hard thing to accomplish, but it still felt special!)

    1. Thanks! It was lucky that my son and I were out for a walk, camera in tow. I so wished we had seen a shining pot of gold where that rainbow seemed to end, but the leprechauns would never have let us near it anyway… Cheers!
